This first site that I have found goes into great detail about the roles of women during the Elizabethan era. This site tells about how the women needed to bring something to the marriage as well as the men, how women were not viewed as equals, but inferior to men and how the non-married and noble women lived in those times. This site is reliable because when cross referenced with other sources, all the information is the same. As well, this site is devoted completely to Shakespeare's life, and information about that era. One interesting thing that this website shows us is how there was famous women in the Elizabethan era, and what roles they played on society during that time.
This is the second source that I have found for this trailblazing assignment. On this site, it has many of the same ideas as the first site, but many different points as well. It speaks about how men and women decided to be married in those times, what was expected of the wife’s, and even has an example of this behavior. This site can be reputed because the author of the site has listed a bibliography of all the books they have used to gather their information. As well, the URL is an education source. The interesting part about this website is how the author of the site has provided an example of how the women lived during that era so we can not only be told, but shown.
I used this site because it relates well to my topic, and has a lot of very good, useful information. It is reputable because the information used on this site, when compared with very reliable websites, is much the same. This site is interesting because it goes into great detail about the life and times of the women of the Elizabethan era.
This site is interesting. It is all about how a professor at the University of Berkley, disagrees with how the movie "Shakespeare in Love" depicts the Elizabethan era. This site is reliable because it was written by a college student about a professor from the University. This site is very interesting because it describes how the Elizabethan era should have been portrayed in the movie, but they failed to achieve this.
This site is a not exactly a site, but a paper written for school. However, this site has a whole essay full of topics relating to how women lived during Elizabethan era. It can be reputed because the site has a bibliography citing all of the books and sites they got the information from. This essay is very well written and has quite a bit of interesting facts and information about women from this era.
