Alice is an amazing coach. I have not been diving for long, but she has taught me so much. I might have thought the things she made me do were a pain in the neck, but they pay off. Her motto: "Practice makes perfect!" Even if that means doing nothing but the same dive the whole practice.

Laura Wilkinson is an amazing diver. She has won many awards and has a very interesting life story. Laura is my role model in diving, and someday I wish to be just like her, well close to her at least.

Diving is a very complicated sport, it requires determination, desire, and dedication. You also need to have strength, flexibility, grace, and techniques. Some of these things can be learned, but most just come to you. The thing with diving is that you cannot start it and stop in the middle. If you want to succeed, you need to practice constantly. The phrase practice makes perfect, is applied 100% to diving.
