A trail of 3 pages, marked with comments, by Candice
About this trail:

Candice's P.E. Trail (Edit 202) was created to provide links to resources for Physical Educators (primarily secondary, but may also be of use to elementary educators as well). The websites listed cover a range of topics, from fitness, to dance, to curriculum pages.

I hope this helps :)

This site was posted by Alberta Education including information on program of studies (K-12), teacher resources, and home education. It provides specific information on curriculum outcomes (A,b,C, D's of P.E.) as well as providing examples to complete them.

Teacher resources section provides links to authorized resources, lesson plans, 2Learn alberta link, and a guide to implementation.

A must for any present or future Physical Educator in Alberta. :)

Yipee is a wonderful website to learn new dances choreography to include in your lesson plans. Dance steps are typed and suggested songs are listed. Many have linked the youtube music video with their dance. There is also a unique feature in that many of the dances also have sample dance videos posted so that you can watch the video to help you or your students learn the dance sequence.

Very helpful! Enjoy :)

ElectriKids is a fitness based website.

Students can create their own workout plan by choosing warm-up, cardio, strength, and cool-down activities. They can then print off, try out, bring to class, and discuss their fitness plan with the class.

There are sections for kids, parents, teachers (lesson plans). This site includes a lot of good information and recommendations for fitness.
