About this trail:
I found a wonderful list of the best holiday films, and added a couple of my own. Make sure you see them all this year!

This is a wonderful compilation of the best holiday movies. I haven't seen Home for the Holidays or Bad Santa, but I would definitely recommend any other film on this site.

If you have never seen A Christmas Story, you're in luck. TBS shows the film for 24 hours every year, starting at 8pm Christmas Eve. It's one of my family's traditions.

Rent is a non-traditional holiday film. It follows a group of friends through a year in their lives, and it starts and ends on Christmas Eve. This is a great film to watch near the end of the year, and get you thinking about what's important in your life. However, it's not for everyone (small children, conservative families, and people who don't like musicals) and the Broadway musical is much better than the movie. Still, the music and message will stay with you for a while.

Who doesn't love classic tales being re-done by Muppets? This is one of my absolute favorite Christmas movies... it makes me feel like a kid again!
