wwiTV is a good place to start because it's a guide to online TV channels. Search by category and country.

Beeline is a really annoying site, but there are TONS of free online stations from around the world. Good selection and quality, but I wish there were better search options.

This site is pretty good; there aren't a ton of channels, but it's much easier to navigate. You can also search for videos. There's a little something for everyone here.

Radio Free World is a great place to find online TV channels, news stations, and a lot more. The site also has free online radio stations, games, music, and lots more.

DirectTVnetworks lets you download a program to watch satellite TV from your computer. There's also access to an On Demand option and a sports/movie channel upgrade. Browse over 2500 channels. You have to download the program, but it seems to be worth it.

its very easy to use and the hundreds of channels are neatly categorised
I bought the $15 1-year membership (from website: "Get 1 Year of Full & Unlimited Access for only $14.95") and received the following membership type:
Membership type: 1 Year subscription - Over 2500 channels on your PC for only [UP]/month for a total of 34.9 $ USD
Then, as you can see, there is a $20 activation charge that they forget to mention upfront. Incredibly frustrating.
Below is the email exchange I had with them - I love how they offer me "Limewire" and "Bittorrent" to keep me as a customer.

Thanks for the refund - I definitely want to receive whatever refund I can get from this company.
