It began with Da Ali G Show, in which we were introduced to Cohen's 3 principle characters, one of them being Ali G himself. Ali G is this British gangsta who is totally homophobic, ignorant, and full of himself. He is a talk show host, and his interviews are hilarious. He has these catch phrases that are so funny, Like "Respek," "Booyakasha," and "Big up yoself."
3
Bruno is also a character from "Da Ali G Show." He also is a talk show host, flamboyantly gay, fashion-obsessed, with an Austrain accent.
4
My favorite Baron Cohen character is Borat Sagdiyev, a Kazakh TV reporter who interviews people who really believe that he is Borat. Borat is very happy and optimistic and knows little about American culture, so he's often very offensive. He's also extremely anti-Semitic.
5
The Borat character from Da Ali G Show was so popular, Baron Cohen made a movie out of it, and won a Golden Globe.
6
Baron Cohen also played the French, homosexual racecar driver Jean Girard in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with Will Ferrell.

And finally, there's this guy, the real Sacha Baron Cohen, a handsome, soft-spoken Englishman, engaged to Australian actress Isla Fisher (she was in Wedding Crashers with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson).
