The Way I Use The Internet

A trail of 5 pages, marked with comments, by KenSteinNYCDOE
About this trail:
This is usually where I begin my trip on the Internet; peeking in on the news and on other things where content changes.
Strange how reading feeds has replaced the morning and afternoon paper for me and how I read feeds before checking email.

del.icio.us is usually set up as the third tab in my browser after Bloglines and my email.
For the past two years I've been using del.icio.us to gather all of my word-related bookmarks since these are things I need access to both at home and at work and I need to share most often.
2
Flickr is an obsession for me and I'm lucky enough to teach a digital photography class.
I use this Flickr photostream for work-related stuff and share with my students
3
This might be the fifth or sixth "Teacher Blog" thing I've played around with in the last three years.
Lately, this has become a default tab in my browser both at home and at work.
4
I've been using this site less and less although it remains in my default tabs at home.
Somewhere there's a useful function for Twitter and someday someone will demonstrate it to me.

I'm not so sure if I need to have Trailfire set up as a default tab on my browser at home, but at work it's a great way to easily check in on my students' work. I can do that when I click to the "Contacts" tab in the middle of the page
