WA Hikes: Labyrinth Mt - Stevens Pass

Lovely alpine lake tucked high above US2 highway. As this picture shows, the water is deep blue. The trail starts steep and stays steep through quiet forest until pretty much at the lake elevation. Then easy hike around the right shore of Minotaur Lake would take you to the summit of Labyrinth. When I did this hike with Hana a few years ago, we did more adventurous route around the lake as described on this page. Blueberries were ripe everywhere in the upper slope, and we spent hours picking and eating. It is a little tough hike, but highly recommended. BTW, I'm just borrowing this site. I should put up my photos someday.
