About this trail:
Rent is one of my favorite musicals. My mom introduced it to me about 8 years ago, and I've seen it 4 times with her since. I encourage you to take a look and come see it when it comes to your city on tour!

If you're heard of Rent, then you've probably heard of the movie. Although it has most of the original cast and does a good job bringing the stage production to the big screen, it just can't capture all of the magic the play has. I encourage you not to make your decision about Rent solely on the movie.

Just a little while ago, Rent charged a large amount of money for tickets to their 10th Anniversary, where the original cast reprised their roles for a night. Someone was nice (and illegal!) enough to tape it for us. The ending is wonderful- all of the Rent casts join together on stage to sing Seasons of Love.

This book is known as the "RENT Bible" to rentheads (huge fans of Rent), and is a wonderful book for any fan to own. It includes the script with amazing pictures, information on how the play was created, what the play's effect has been, cast bios, and even a map describing the different places mentioned in Rent!
