About this trail:
Backing trails in the Portland, OR area. I'm want to plan a backpacking trip or two this summer and I'm considering these trails.

So far my choice trail. Not too difficult, a decent distance, plenty of places to stop and camp for the night, and pristine mountain lakes

Looks like a nice day hike, but probably not the best for backpacking.

Looks like an awesome day hike with spectacular scenery. But since the destination is reachable by car, this isn't my ideal backpacking trail.

Looks like a beautiful loop hike. Possibly hard to stay on the right trail. Not crowded, but more lengthy and difficult.
1. I've lived around Portland for quite some time and I still haven't heard of some of these. Good stuff! I will have to check 'em out.
