About this trail:
Get all the information you want, nothing will quite prepare you for the stunning beauty of Welsh countryside anyways, but this site is very useful to start planning. And the pictures to start dreaming.

We camped at Black Mountain… eating, sleeping and learning to Kayak all with BMA! Great fun, great teachers. They don’t have too many rooms though so you better check much before you actually want to go. Also, in this type of trip, might be worth checking out the weather conditions, as sometimes they cancel lessons if the weather is not holding up. Main activities are kayaking, and rock climbing
3
The Black Mountain activity center is in Hay on Wye. Now unless you are a bookworm, it is unlikely you have heard of the place, so do check this out to know all the stuff that you can do around here, mostly out- doorsy activities.
4
Now the explanation on bookworms! You see, Hay on Wye is famous for its annual literary festival hosted by the Guardian. Eminent writers make their way here, and it’s a hot bed of activity every summer. There are also scores of second-hand bookshops in Hay, where you can browse. Hay’s actually called the second-hand bookshop of the world, fancy a stroll?
5
Stunningly beautiful landscapes, and parkland, cycling routes in plenty, great way to explore the region and sign off a visit to Hay on Wye in style.

Just incase you don’t get accommodation at BMA or don’t want to do water sports but would prefer just exploring the area, here are some more B&B’s you can check out.
