Internal Audit is a periodic check up for all the processes in the organization. It is planned and executed with the primary aim of sustaining compliance across the organization. It is a process by itself which identifies non conformances or deviations that affect the project productivity level.

Since all the regulatory bodies aim at providing wholesome security, they consider internal audits as a stepping stone for building the defense system.
