About this trail:
This trail displays some of the products and services I have worked on, either directly or indirectly (much of the software I have developed powers consumer electronic devices).
1
At Open Interface, I helped build the company from the ground-up, developing the first Bluetooth 1.1 stack in the world to be certified for all protocols and profiles. The BlueMagic protocol stack is now powering millions of consumer devices worldwide.
2
Open Interface's Bluetooth stack powers the iPhone.
3
Qualcomm's MSM chipsets ship with Open Interface's Bluetooth stack on board. These chipsets power the majority of CDMA phones (millions worldwide). I presented the technical merits of the solution to Qualcomm, winning the largest licensing agreement in Open Interface's history.
4
The Logitech FreePulse Wireless Headphones are powered by Open Interface's Bluetooth stack.
5
The iPod is powered by the software and hardware developed by PortalPlayer (now part of Nvidia). As a leader on the software architecture team at PortalPlayer, I developed strategic firmware features for the iPod and many of the other high-capacity portable media players on the market.
6
I contributed to Ontela's core architecture and developed the mobile client software which helped the company secure its Series A funding round of $ 4.5 million.
7
Powered by Implicit Networks software, the Thomson/RCA Digital MediaBridge won a best of CES award. This product allowed users to enjoy music, movies, and photos on their high-definition television or stereo. I developed the core media player engine, user experience, and user interface while at Implicit Networks.
