Last.fm – The Social Music Revolution

I've been using this site ever since it was called AudioScrobbler but I think it will do a lot better as last.fm instead. The idea is simple: You download a small plugin for your favorite media player (or use the last.fm player) and then whenever you wish, you can keep track of all the songs you listen to. I'm sure you're saying to yourself "That's an invasion of privacy!" or "That's spyware!"... no, all it does is record the song title, artist, and the time you listened to it... It doesn't know if you're playing it on MP3, listening to it from CD, or listening to your own personal Radio station. They also don't even keep the "log" of all this info for very long... it just gets added into the stats... Also, you can wipe your stats clean if you feel like it, and you're completely in control of whether or not your songs are being "Scrobbled".
