Affirmative action is not a discrimination act it is a policy of equal opportunity. It makes everything to everybody equal and fair. It doesn't matter what level of society your in, your race, your gender, your ethnicity and so on. People who oppose affirmative action think it is counterproductive meaning tending to hinder rather than serve one's purpose.
