In a losing race for the presidency against Pat Robinson, Bush Sr. takes his son's advise and goes after the evangelical christian vote - and wins by a landslide.

The strongest, undeniable, link between Bush and Hitler is that both have lifted habeas corpus. Bush had to try twice, once in 2001 which got revoked by the supreme court and one attempt is ongoing with the Military Commissions Act currently in Congress. Hitler did so with the 1933 Enabling Act. While this does not make Bush the Hitler of our time it does make Bush a dictator. Since Bush will be able to control the general assembly by threatening the safety of representatives and their families it is to be expected that his future policies will face little resistance in both the Senate and Congress.

“Their [the CIA’s] assessments, at day’s end, are a distillate of the kind of secret, internal conversations that the American public [was] not sanctioned to hear: strategic analysis. Today’s conclusion: bin-Laden’s message was clearly designed to assist the President’s reelection.

But with Democrats in control of Congress, it may have dawned on the Bush White House that someone may notice that violation of FISA is a felony. Bamford noted that one of the charges in the articles of impeachment drawn up against President Nixon was "illegal wiretaps." Maybe Bush's legal protectors have grown fearful that someone will conclude that a felonious offense is also an impeachable offense. A federal judge in Michigan has already ruled that the Bush administration's electronic surveillance program was illegal, and the case is now under appeal. Because Bush has agreed now to comply with FISA, Gonzalez is arguing that the case is moot. But as Bamford noted, a bank robber cannot escape responsibility for breaking the law by saying he will not do it again.

Copies of handwritten notes by Vice President Dick Cheney, introduced at trial by defense attorneys for former White House staffer I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, would appear to implicate George W. Bush in the Plame CIA Leak case.

WSJ: Was there a moment in the war when you said we have to make a major change in the way we’re doing things in Iraq? GWB: Yes, there was. WSJ: When was that? GWB: September/October.

The reason why is I did not want to make a major decision in the final days of the campaign. The only way to answer that question, and get it on to another question, was to give you that answer. The truth of the matter is as well, that is one reason I gave the answer.

A claim made by President Bush in his State of the Union speech last night, that an attack on an L.A. skyscraper had been averted, was universally debunked as a hoax by Mayors, CIA, FBI and NSA personnel and counter-terror experts nearly a year ago when it first surfaced. By regurgitating this fraud, Bush has committed an impeachable offense by knowingly lying to the American people.
