Middle school students teach teachers how to effectively use technology in the classroom in before-school sessions. The assumption is that teachers are getting plenty of staff development, but it's all outside the classroom. This model looks at an in-class model with teachers being the students. Not 1st choice.

An effective plan is presented to move the TIS from the perception of equipment repairman to instructional teacher leader. Suggestions include standardizing procedures, goal-setting, and collaboration.

The presentation format of presenting the information through a road trip is a good idea, but the content of this one seems to drag. Pick something else.

Handing out equipment won't change how teachers teach...it's really a PR issue, and this presentation shares some good ideas of how to make it happen.
