About this trail:
Thank you to the author and for sharing this great animation. The animated curves within the video signal stenography to the people who know this forgotten art. What about beeing a co-creator of StenoMotion, the 3d body sign-language, to be developed in the YouTube community and beyond. In the StenoWiki there are already some basic StenoGlyphs, waiting for animators. By animating them you could help the learners of stenography to more easily memorize them. But best of all, we are creating a new language, that is inspired by stenography but not restricted to it. This new body language is (not only) valuable for the deafculture. It builds a bridge between hearing and not hearing impaired people. 5*,fav,subscripted, socially bookmarked/ annotated it with this text and put it on the SocialCommonWealth blog to give this artist and the software Synfig maximal exposure in the communities. .. -- fridemar

Using the graphics tablet as a Midi Controler is a good idea, that can be applied immediately to a 1-1 representation of stenography (as a subset of StenoMotion) in the audio-space.

So lets consider the representation map

r=(f,g,h,id): X x Y x I x T ->  P x F x V x T

which transforms 4-tuples of the tablet data into
4 tuples in audio space.

More later ...

Watching a stenographic text in the future could look like this.
6
Great source of inspiration for tools and forms of StenoMotion.

Analysis and Synthesis of expressive gestures in combination with StenoGlyphs and AudioGlyphs would be great. -- fridemar
