On December 23rd, 2006, Oden was kept in check by Al Horford and the Florida Gators, who more than decisively defeated the Buckeyes 86-60 in Gainesville, Florida. Although he recorded three big blocks, including one on reigning Final Four MVP, the 6'11" Joakim Noah, Oden fell into foul trouble, finishing the game with just seven points.
