Point out important quotes that your reader should see so they don't have to read the whole thing, and put your comments right beside it (or if you really disagree with it, put it on top) you can even embed html right in the links, political cartoons, you tube videos, nearly anything you want

Then you can bring the reader right back to your blog so that you don't lose them when they click on a link. The anchor will only appear to those who have followed your trail, and the mark is easy to open and close so that it doesn't cover your site's content.
