Bubblr:  Use bubblr to create captions, comments, or "thoughts" for photos you upload to Flickr or search Flickr to find existing photos.

Slide.com:  Use slide.com to create a slide show that can be shared online.  Also, use slides to create a slide show that can be embedded on your website or wiki.  Slide shows can also be used to create your own screensavers for your computers.

VoiceThread allows the user to create slideshows with narration and commentary. It allows for one voice or for multiple voices. Photos may also be annotated with captions. VoiceThreads may be embedded into blogs, wikis, or websites.

YouTube and TeacherTube contain thousands of videos on the web about a myriad of subjects.  Locate book and movie trailers to advertise books.  Locate "how to" videos, travel videos, etc.  on almost any subject area.

Use Zamzar to save YouTube and TeacherTube videos to your computer to play back later.

PhotoStory:  The next step up from PowerPoint.  It allows the user to create video stories by adding pans and zooms,  by recording narration, and by adding titles and background music.  PhotoStory is free download from Microsoft and requires XP with service pack 2 updates.
