Lots of folks at Cascadia are using Wet Paint as a collaboration space. It has several great tools in addition to the wiki. You can upload files and you can have discussions around the content. Good stuff!

Google Docs is a great web tool. Even if you are not collaborating, it is a fabulous web based word processor. Share your document with others and you have an almost effortless team collaboration going. Sweet!

Believe it or not, there are lots of wonderful tools on My Cascadia that will enable you to do collaboration without having to adopt a new tool. Look for some workshops this fall on how to use My Cascadia to support your face to face teaching. In the meantime, experiment with what's out there.

Don't forget to read the resources that I post at the end of the weekly newsletter. If you don't want to take the time to read them all, at least read the "7 Things You Should Know. . ." links. They are really wonderful and take examples right out of the classroom, showing you how to teach with these tools. You can really tell in a few minutes whether the tool will be something that works with your teaching or not.
