Social dislocation in Tibet as a result of Chinese economic development. No 'planned' immigration of Han, but Han laborers follow the investment. Interesting cf. the Han demographic revolution in central Yunnan in the 18th century, came to a head in the early 19th, temporarily stopped by the 'Muslim Rebellions' in 1850s, and then continued unabated up to modern times.
