The start of distinguishing "bottom-up" democracy in the framing of the triggering question.
This was started after engaging the Obamavision wiki, then reading the Huffington Post article linked from the Obamavision homepage. In an exchange with a reader who drew the distinction of direct and representative democracy, the author responded that he was not promoting direct democracy. Since the use of the phrase "bottom-up" democracy is often employed to be synonymous with direct democracy I thought we should see how the Obamavision inquiry is framed.
