There was a time when chicken could be visited only at the stores. Read about how one day a mysterious box arrived and it were two baby chicks. How it was fun to watch them run back and forth to peck at the food. What the little kids did to keep them outside and healthy. A beautiful little story about Salt and Pepper who brought happiness to the household till they lived.
