Marshal Sandler was born in 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. He attended Detroit Country Day School (high school), and he left Michigan to attend the University of Miami, Florida.
Marshal joined the Us Army and served from 1959 to 1961. He traveled extensively in the 1950s to France, Cuba, Spain and throughout the US.
Marshalâs working career was in the Industrial Laundry and Textile Sales industry. He currently lives in Michigan where he is semi-retired and working on this site and related publications.

I get books to review quite often these days (and I’m grateful for every one). Some of them are pretty humdrum. Others are interesting, but really preachy. I can say without hesitation that The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur, by Mike Michalowicz is the first book my Mom ever ran off with before I even had a chance to browse it. She was visiting last week, and did just that.
Diane Brogan runs a custom wire wrapped jewelry business, and generally likes to read the same types of books as me. But she really liked the TPE. She thought the cover and title was catchy, and that’s what got her to read it

I am a firm believer that Customer Service and public discussions on the web will be an alternate channel similar to phone, email, or chat. At the same time I was not surprised to learn that the Consumerist on Friday announced that their parent company, Gawker Media, was putting the web property up for sale. Recently Get Satisfaction started a pay program to provide more control to companies. Will websites such as these ever be a profitable place? Are they even needed with all the blogs and other website out there?

I was at the computer this Morning when an on air employee at Fox 2 Detroit made a plea for $28,000 to send the kids to Washington DC to sing at the event confirming Barak Obama’s presidency ! Now I think as opposed to promoting the ” The Disease of the Day !” in health works which seems to be 60% of their content ! How about the Station that we support dig’s into their own Pockets and give the kids the $28,000.00 there are a lot of high paid employees at Fox 2 ! Then they get one of the Local Sports teams to give them a free ride in their Jet ! This is a contrubution to the MENTAL HEALTH of Schools Systems ! Television was founded as a Public Service how about responding to your Public !

Mike Thompson has been the Editorial Cartoonist for the Detroit Free Press since 1998. Aside from the Detroit Free Press, Thompson regularly draws for USA Today. His work has been featured on C-SPAN, CNN, the CBS Evening News, PBS, the Fox News Network and The Today Show.
For the past two years, Thompson has been a finalist for the Pulitzer prize for cartooning. His work has won numerous other awards.
Thompson began his career at the Milwaukee Journal as a contributing cartoonist, then became the staff cartoonist for the St. Louis Sun and the Copley, Ill., newspapers before taking his present job at the Detroit Free Press.
His hobbies include a lifelong effort to teach himself to speak Russian, travel, animation, reading voraciously, managing his addiction to Red Wings hockey and chasing down the ice cream truck for his two daughters.
