Having reached the ripe old age of “72″! I was lucky to have had an education that made reading a must ! My grandfather a very religious man always stressed education in the Family ! Oh yes i even forced to attend Hebrew School which was tough but as I look back it added a lot to my life ! In high school we took Spanish and Latin and a lot of Science ! In Detroit Country School by the time we reached 10 th grade we had read a lot of the Great Books ! I was exposed to works John Dos Passo’s and by the 11 grade had even read the Forsyte Saga ! The Forsyte Saga is a series of three novels and two interludes by John Galsworthy.
