I thought I would start this trail with a look at the books themselves. Just searching for "Harry Potter" in the books department of amazon.ca, we can see that all seven books can be purchased in box sets, paperback, hardcover, and other special editions (such as the children's cloth edition). There are versions marketed towards children as well as adults, which shows the wide range in the audience.
