About this trail:
To surf through the class blogs, use the buttons in the little balloons. Have fun!
1
Look here for links to the course blogs, recent posts, announcements, resources for communicating with others in the class, and similar things...
Tip: use the triangles in this little balloon (upper right) to surf forwards and backwards through the course webpages (they're not in any particular order, in case you're wondering). If the balloons get in your way, click the little "X" in the top right corner to hide them.

Tabbie's course blog. This (click for link) is my favorite post so far, mainly because she is so nice about me... Haha. It's also the first post this semester to get multiple comments, I think.
3
Anton's class blog. Takes a somewhat literary approach towards the texts.
4
Shanika's blog. First few posts have a primarily religious focus.
5
Carrie's class blog (obviously). Extensive, thoughtful, interesting posts that cover a range of topics: from the aspects of the Gilgamesh character, to classroom dynamics, to religious beliefs.
6
From Mandy, if you didn't guess. Several introspective, deeply reflective posts.
7
Jenna's blog. The most recent post (link) was, I thought, a really interesting and honest examination of what kinds of obstacles can prevent us from really engaging in sustained critical thought about a familiar text.
8
This is John's blog (that's John K. for anyone who has trouble keeping Jon and John straight). One thing that really jumped out at me about this one (especially this post -- link) was that, after leaving class, he apparently decided that the consensus we'd come to in our discussion was wrong, and he wrote about why.
9
From Brett, some short reflections on the texts and on in-class discussions.
10
From Mac. So far, pretty short posts with personal reactions to the readings and discussions in the class. Probably wins for most random title.

13
Lucy's blog. In the most recent post she discusses the difference between comprehension, on the one hand, and belief on the other. Interesting ideas.
14
From Alex P. Very honest religious questions and ideas in the most recent post.
15
Annie's blog. Thoughtful and wide-ranging. Covers a lot of ground. There are a lot of interesting insights here.
16
This is Jon's (that's Jon M. as opposed to John K.). The most recent post (link) looks specifically at some problems and questions related to religious belief and religious identity. Really interesting.

This is my (i.e., Nathan's) blog. I created it at the beginning of this semester to blog about the courses I'm teaching this term. I'm fascinated with blogging as a phenomenon and I am really curious about how blogs and bloggers have the impact they do, so I have several blogs going, but this is probably going to be the main one for the purposes of this course. I also have a very general blog on religion and teaching that you can find at this link; I may occasionally post relevant content there, but I'll make sure to let you know that you ought to look.
