I took the bus just outside the Grand central station at 10 am , and within 2 hours had seen all the main sights. I could then decide which ones I wanted to see in detail again, and hop-on hop off during the day. I chose to linger around Grote Market but that I was being lazy. With more than 16 stops, this ride is worth it. Highlights are the Atomium, the Arc of Triumph and the Europa quarter with important looking buildings.

Museum of Cocoa and Chocolate

Whatever you do, please keep some time aside for the chocolate museum. People have time to talk to you and show you their wares, unlike in London. My bus guide told me that tapestries, beer and lace were the main buys but frankly there’s a lot of variety even within these!
