Using <SPAN STYLE="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Monitor for Meaning</SPAN>, find a term (word or phrase) that you find <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">unclear or confusing</SPAN>. <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">Create your own trail</SPAN> at that spot (name it &quot;TV Tech Webquest&quot;)&nbsp; and post a guess on what you think it means.<BR><BR>3. Using <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Search Skills</SPAN>, find a web site that <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">explains the term</SPAN>. Add a <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">trail mark</SPAN> to your trail from that web site.<BR><BR>4. Using <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Determine Importance</SPAN>, find a passage (sentence or paragraph) on the &quot;Remote Control Anarchy&quot; page that <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">supports the author&#39;s thesis</SPAN> very well. Add a <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">trail mark</SPAN> to your trail, and write the search terms you used in your trail mark.<BR><BR>6. Using <SPAN STYLE="font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;">Synthesis</SPAN>, add a final mark to your trail. In this mark, write a paragraph about the future possibilities of this technology. <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">Make a prediction</SPAN> about whether or not technology will become more or less complex to the end user. <SPAN STYLE="font-weight: bold;">Support your argument with evidence</SPAN> from any of the web sites on your trail.<BR><BR>7.
