解它就是另外一回事了。
美式橄榄球是一种激烈对抗的比赛，进攻一浪接一浪，每次进攻之间稍有间歇由进攻队
决定下一步采取何种策略。一些队员高大强壮，另一些矮小灵活。在橄榄球比赛中力量
是经常需要的，但也同样需要智慧、敏捷和技巧。职业比赛有可能十分复杂，但基本规
则并不难理解。

每支队伍由11人组成，控球的一方叫做进攻方，他们力图通过传球或带球跑到对方阵地
最后端的极阵得分。另一支队伍叫做防守方，他们力图阻止进攻方的进攻并夺取控球权
。如果一方得分了或丧失了控球权则攻防转换（进攻方变成防守方，防守方变成进攻方
）。如此反复，直到比赛的4节全部赛完。得分最多的队获胜。

比赛时间。美式橄榄球比赛被分成4个15分钟的节（Quarter），中场有12分钟的休息，
在第1节和第3节后各有2分钟休息。每节后两队交换场地。在第1节开始的时候和下半场
开始的时候要进行开球（kickoff）。
进攻方在每次进攻（play）完成后40秒内必须传出球（snap）开始下一次进攻，否则就
要受罚。当运动员出界或判罚的时候要停表，裁判把球放到罚球点上的时候重新计时。
全场4节打满平局的情况下要打15分钟加时赛，以投币确定进攻方。NFL采用“突然死亡
法”，先得分的队获胜。在NFL欧洲赛区，加时赛时每个队都至少要有一次进攻机会，
如果双方都没有得分再采用突然死亡法。
队员。每支队都由三类队员组成：进攻组，负责进攻；防守组，负责防守；特别组，负
责特殊情况——弃踢、射门和开球。在任何情况下一方在场上都只能有11名队员。美式
橄榄球队员的服装就象比赛场地一样艳丽多彩。
开球（kickoff）。比赛以开球开始。球被立在防守方30码线的球座上，由一名专门的
开球手（place kicker）将球踢向攻方。攻方一名队员接到球后向前冲，他被阻截住的
位置就是攻方开始进攻的位置。如果球被踢到了攻方的极阵，接到球的队员有两种选择
，要么抱球往回跑，要么在极阵单膝跪地，做出“持球触地”（touchback）的手势，
则从攻方20码线开始进攻。
第一档进攻（first down）。在美式橄榄球赛中，进攻的成就是以推进的码数体现的，
进攻队每次都力争推进尽可能多的码数以逼近对方极阵。在比赛中进攻方总共有四档进
攻机会 (play，或叫down)，而每当持球的球员触地或是跑出边界，就算是一次 down，
也就是下一次进攻机会的开始，所以在比赛中听到 first down, second down, third
down, fourth down，这就分别是指第一次到第四次的进攻机会。而美式橄榄球比赛的
最重要规则之一，就是攻击的一方从第一档进攻的位置起算，必须在四次的进攻当中向
前推进超过十码，不然的话就换对方进攻，但是如果在任何一次的进攻机会当中总推进
码数超过十码，则可以重新再获得一次第一档，也就是新的一轮(四次)进攻机会。所以
取得第一档是非常重要的，想要让自己的攻势绵延不断，就必须不断地取得第一档和新
的进攻机会。防守方不但要阻止攻方得分，而且要防止攻方达到赢得第一档所需的10码
。进攻队在第四档进攻时往往采用弃踢（punt）的方式将球踢得远远的，防守方从接到
球的地方开始进攻。
传球与跑阵。每一次进攻由进攻队员裆下开球（snap）开始。在对阵线上，四分卫大声
喊着进攻套路的代号，中锋将球从裆下传给他。比赛开始了，四分卫得球后可以抱球跑
(这样的进攻叫跑阵)，长传或短传(这样的进攻叫传球)。攻方有两种主要的方法向前推
进。其一是跑阵，四分卫将球传给跑锋，或自己带球跑，晃过防守队员尽可能地向前推
进。另一种向前推进的方法是通过传球。一般来说是四分卫负责传球，当然也存在其他
队员传球以欺骗防守队员的情况。事实上任何攻方队员都可以传球（只要在对阵线以后
），当攻方另一名队员，一般是外接员或边卫，接到球后，传球才算成功。如果球在任
何人接到之前就落地了，则视作未完成的传球。
擒抱（tackle）。橄榄球中最常用的阻止进攻的手段就是擒抱——将持球队员连人带球
按倒在地。当攻方持球队员被擒抱或被逼出边线时一次进攻就宣告结束了。
得分。橄榄球比赛的最终目的是得分。共有4种得分的方法。达阵(touchdown)得6分，
是最重要的得分方式，而且可以赢得一次加分踢(extra point)。要想达阵，必须是控
球一方使球触到对方极阵。常见的是攻方带球冲入守方极阵或传到守方极阵的球被攻方
接到。还有攻方进攻失误被守方反攻入本方极阵，或开球被进攻队逼入本方极阵的情况。

加分踢（extra point）和二分转换（two points conversion）。当一队达阵得分后还
可获得一次加分踢的机会，也就是在罚球点上射门，如果将球射入两根球门柱之间，横
梁上方的区域，还可以再得1分。除了加分踢外，也可以选择另一种得分方式，就是二
分转换。即在加分踢位置上以普通的进攻方式推进，如攻入对方极阵则得两分。由于这
种方式比较难，一般的队都选择加分踢。
射门得分（field goal）。能够达阵得分当然是最好的，
如果实在无法攻入对方极阵，也可以通过射门得分。射门可以得3分，往往在决定比赛
命运的时候出现。在任何地方都可以射门，通常是在守方的45码线以内，第4档进攻的
时候。

安全（safety）得分。进攻方的持球队员如果在本方极阵被擒杀则对方可得2分，叫做
安全得分。这种现象比较罕见。
反攻（turn over）。有的时候，进攻方在进攻中会被防守方将球抢去，防守方立即反
守为攻，这是攻方的恶梦。又有两种情况会出现这种反攻。一是攻方在传球和带球跑的
过程中掉球（fumble）。另一种是攻方的传球被守方拦截（interception

I currently play the TM r5 dual neutral but I want to upgrade to something with current technology. The three I am considering are the r7 Superquad, Burner and the r7 CGB Max. I am an avid golfer and recently had my handicap down to a lifetime low of 11.5. I have always been of the opinion that having the right putter does not always equate to lower scores. The old adage in golf is "driver for show and putt for dough" - which directly translates to make your putts or else your score will suffer. I play weekly with 3 other guys and see them change putters at least twice a year thinking they will get better feel on long and short putts. The truth is that their handicaps have remained unchanged over the last year while my handicap was lowered 5 strokes (while keeping the same putter). The short game in golf which includes pitching, chipping and putting accounts for about 75-80% of all your strokes in a round so improving in that area will definitely lower your overall score. Ultimately putting can be a huge stroke saver when you get 1 putts continually in your round of golf. We wanted to do an article on what to look for in putters and offer reviews of the most popular golf putters.

Let's get into the various types and styles to putters. Face balanced putters have the face facing upwards when the shaft is balanced on your finger. The center of gravity will be below the axis of the shaft which means you should get a straighter putting motion when the putter goes forward. If you have a "back and through" motion, these putters work well. A toe balanced putter is one in which the toe points to the ground when the shaft is balanced on your finger. If you have an "in to out" putting stroke, these putters work well since the center of gravity is not directly below the axis. The 3 basic types of putters are blade, peripheral weighted and mallets. A blade putter is more traditional in look and used by players like Phil Mickelson. The small head and flat look are simple and produce soft hits which work great on fast greens (good for players with a straight putting stroke). Peripheral weighted putters are widely used by both amateurs and professionals although they are not face balanced like many people think. They are toe balanced and better for golfers with an in to out stroke. Mallet putters are becoming more popular since they offer more weight than say blade putters do. Mallet putters tend to be face balanced and therefore work better with those golfers who have a straight back and through putting stroke. The next thing to consider are the putter face and inserts. The goal of a putter insert is to give the golfer a softer feel when it comes to putting the golf ball. Metal faced putters are most commonly made with steel but modern versions also have aluminum, copper, zinc, titanium, brass, and bronze. They tend to be very strong and heavy but hit the ball with a controlled and solid feel. Insert faced putters are really just metal putters with a light-weight non metal insert. The theory on these inserts is that they give you more "pure strokes" and better forgiveness. Grooved faced putters help reduce skidding, back spinning, sliding or even hopping of the golf ball as it begins to roll after you putt it. Grooved faced putters keep the ball on line better and give it an "over the top" rolling action. Lastly, you have heel-shafted putters, center shafted putters and offset putters. Shafts and hosels of putters are generally made of steel. No big advantage to where the shaft connects to the putter head, just personal preference. We will discuss belly and long putters down below in more depth. Best Golf Putter:

Odyssey is the #1 putter in golf in terms of sales and customer feedback that is very positive. We have a hard time saying one putter is better than any others, but the Odyssey White Hot series consistently gets excellent ratings and reviews from experts and amateur golfers for giving the putter control and feel on all length putts. With a price tag at $120 I sure hope it saves some strokes off your game. We found more amateurs use the Odyssey putter, but professionals like the Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Style Putters ($300). More low handicappers had better results with the Scotty Cameron putter than did higher handicappers. Perhaps they play more and have better feel on the greens to begin with. Putting really comes down to confidence and not necessarily the actual putter itself. Many pros could putt darn well with average putters, but amateurs rarely see much of a difference between high or low end putters. Practice and confidence will build a putting stroke much faster than any amount of money will. One style to consider that may actually help line up putts better and get you lower scores is the Odyssey White Steel 2-Ball SRT Putters ($70 to $100). These putters have an outline of a white golf ball shape (actually 2) that lead back from the center of the putter head so that you can imagine the putting stroke as a continuation of the ball on the putter. The NIKE Blue Chip Series Putters ($50) are a good mid-range putter designed for forgiveness, reduced skidding, and more feel. Nike has done their research in trying to deliver golfers a putter that will give them more accurate putts on the greens. The soft, light Blue Chip insert sends your putts "on line and at the correct speed". They are available in both right handed and left handed models and so far have great feedback from golfers. Taylor Made putters are trying to catch up to their reputation as a great iron and driver manufacturer and seem to be headed in the right direction. Best Belly/Long Putter:

Belly putters are roughly 41-46 inches long and long putters are slighly longer at 48-52 inches in length. In recent years they have become slightly more popular with players like Kevin Stadler, Bernard Langer, and Steware Cink all using some form of these. Belly putters do a great job of anchoring the putter to your belly area and essentially give you a more consistent and more controlled swing. The disadvantage to a belly putter is distance control and perhaps a little feel on longer putts. You end up using more large muscles and less small muscles in your putting stroke. Long putters are available, but few players try these "broomhandle" putters since they are very hard to get accustomed to. All the swing motion is done by the right hand while the left hand holds the putter close to the body. A few pros use these and even fewer amateurs. The PING G5i Craz-E Belly/Long Putters ($185) are some of the more recognized on the market and best rated.

Best Golf Driver Overall:

The best golf driver based on user ratings and comparisons was actually 3 that tied at the top of the list. The (RECOMMENDED) Cleveland Launcher Ti460 ($250) rates high for accuracy and length and comes in lofts of 7.5 degrees up to 11.5. They do offer a left handed version and users say the forgiveness is what makes this club so easy to use. The driver gets great marks for feel, ball flight, and distance. The Mizuno MX500 460 ($250) is another top selling golf driver with excellent feedback from golfers who say it is "consistent, long, and straight" with some mid-range handicappers gaining 40 yards off the tee. We found golfers with lower handicaps rated the Mizuno higher for feel and accuracy while higher handicappers said they got better ball flight and trajectory. You might wonder were the Nike SasQuatch 460 that Tiger Woods uses showed up - it tied for 10th place in the survey. The Nike was great in distance, but lacked feel and forgiveness which kept it off our "best" list, but still a popular, good driver. The (RECOMMENDED) Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver is another favorite year in and year out, and you can usually pick it up for less than $175 (you may also want to check out the new Callaway Hyper X Tour 460 -- browse all Callaway drivers here). So as a general rule, you can't go wrong buying a Callaway or Taylormade driver, and specific Nike and Cleveland will also make you a happy golfer.

Moveable Weight Driver:

Taylor Made makes some great golf clubs and PGA tour pros love them. We think the (RECOMMENDED) TaylorMade R7 Quad 425cc is the best moveable weight driver out there. The large clubhead gives you high MOI and forgiveness which translates into long, straight drives. There are 6 sets of launch conditions you can choose from with the 28 grams of moveable weight. The Taylor Made R7 is meant for a mid to low handicapper and comes available for right or left handed players. It's made of titanium (head) with a graphite shaft. Taylormade doesn't stop there though -- the TaylorMade Men's r7 SuperQuad 460 Driver is a real monster. I've played with both of these clubs and love their feel, though I can't swear that moving the weights around really improves my shots. Golf Driver Tips:

If you are reading this section, perhaps you are not so quick to blame the club and you realize you might have something to do with the bad "drives". There are no cure all golf drivers to fix slices and hooks or bad swing paths. Start by taking a basic lesson with your local club pro and see what they can do for you - it's a great $60 investment that could last a lifetime. Instead of spending $300 on an expensive new driver, consider working on your swing path with a certified teacher once or twice and you will probably see the extra 30-50 yards in your drives. There are no guarantees in golf, but we have found that people shave off more strokes through practice and lessons than they do with buying new clubs that promise results but very rarely deliver.

It all depends on you. A chip is hitting from just off the green. Your goal with a chip is the same as a long putt. You probably do not want to use a 3 or 5 iron. Some people will use a 8 or a 9 iron for LONG chips, because the ball stays low and runs far. Most of the time I use a sand wedge. A pitch shot it a longer shot in which the ball has to carry in the air much further. Usually anything under about 100 i consider a pitch. This is where it depends on you. Your length of clubs determines which club and how to play it. Any kind of wedge is usually what you will have in your hand. However, you may need to choke down and take a 3/4 swing to loose some distance depending on where you are.

Remember, there isn't a hard and fast rule that applies to all these situations. Know what you are hitting off of (rough, fairway) and your distances. Good luck, and don't give up. Golf is extremely frustrating at first (well, always, but it gets better)

I've been PM'ed many times asking for clarification of some of my more 'different' posts. I realize that some of my ideas may be hard to understand......especially given my trouble in just using words to describe them.

I have made a video based on my concept of pulling a bow, then moving it into a crossbow. That's the image I have......the feel, but I believe the swing itself is pretty simple.

I hope they both help make sense of any posts I may have made to this point and that these videos can help some people get a more powerful and easily repeated action.

I have always been intrigued by the Japanese Samurai sword. Throughout history they have been seen as the highest quality swords ever produced, and the craftsman who made them also turned them into amazing works of art. Recently, I had the good fortune to meet the guys from Miura Golf, quality makers of golf iron heads. The Miura family name is right up there with those Samurai craftsmen, and the same attention to detail has been expended in their golf “art”. Here is the story of the birth of a forged club.

1.球员必须在4小时15分钟打完18洞，如因球员慢打而导致超过4小时15分钟，球会有权加收费用。

The time allowed for 18 holes is 4hours and 15minutes，if over the time because slow play, Club would be made additional charge.

2.每位球员必须配一个球童；

Each player must take one caddy.

3.所有球员须遵守鹿回头球会的服饰礼仪规定；

All players must obey the club dressing code.

4.12岁以下儿童下场需得到球会管理层的批准；

Children under the age of 12 will only be permitted on the golf course after approved by the club Management.

5.禁止穿铁钉鞋上球场, 仅限胶钉球鞋；

Only golf soft spike shoes allowed on the golf course.

6.差点超过40以上的球员下场前需得到球会管理层的批准；

All players his/her handicap over 40 must received approval from the club management before playing golf.

7.每位球员必需配备一套球杆打球；

Each player must have his / her own set of club.

8.同组不得超过四人；

No more than 4 players are allowed in one group.

9.单个球员在打球过程中不得超越，高峰期须服从出发员的安排；

Single players are advised to join other players, This will be arranged by the starter.

10.球车不可开上球道；

Golf cart must stay on the cart path.

11.球员必须在安全范围内击球；

Please ensure that the group in front is out of range before you commence play.

12.雷雨天气必须停止打球，应立即避雨，否则后果自负；

If the event of thunder and lightning, all players must stop playing and immediately take shelter；

13.开球指引：男球员差点9以内可在黑TEE开球；差点10—18可在蓝TEE开球；差点19--30可在白TEE开球；差点31以上及所有业余女球员在红TEE开球。

SUGGESTED TEE: Men Players with Handicap 9 or under, black Tee; Handicap 10—18, blue Tee; Handicap 19—30, white Tee, Handicap 30+and all Amateur Ladies Player, red Tee.

Read this thread. The video in the first post is what starts it all. It's really just a swing/drill to teach a core driven swing with a passive release. The first reply pretty much got it, but didn't cover the setup fundamentals. I've attached the condensed version of the encyclopedia that should help you out a lot. Just spend a lot of time reading and understanding rather than just trying it once and giving up.
