The site includes many points in history, with dates, which give information of the politics that occurred in Shakespeare’s time. I know that I can use this site as a mark on my trail because its URL comes from a very famous university. It also includes a bibliography of all the sites that it gathered information from. Most of the sites used in the bibliography also come from other universities or novels that have been written.

 

This site gives information including facts like, when tobacco was introduced, facts about Shakespeare’s marriage and children and facts that directly show the politics of Shakespeare’s time. For example, it gives information about the queen and the decisions that were made during this time.

This is a reputable site because it shows the author’s name and the location that he is at. It states that she is a retired english teacher and has written the site for grade 6-12 students. It is interesting to know that if you were caught "wandering around the streets in a drunk. The offender would be publicly humiliated or be required to wear a barrel (holes were cut on the sides for the person's hands and head, causing it to become like a heavy, awkward shirt) as he was led through the town so villagers might jeer at him".
