Camera shopping

About this trail:
I'm shopping for a small light *fast* point and shoot with automatic exposure bracketing for use with high dynamic range software. Here goes...

And the winner is the Lumix FX30. Ultra fast at 3 fps for as many shots as you want. It has an incredible Leica 28-100mm lens, and exposure bracketing.

This seems to be as good as it gets for memory cards.  Not sure you need this speed for something like the lumix dmc-fx30.  But it isn't much more expensive than the 60x card at Amazon so why not.

1. You should check out the Panasonic Lumix line. They are highly rated, with image stabilization. Mine has a wide angle, decent zoom and plenty of GB, all in an amazingly small unit. I just bought one (at costco).  -Lynne

2. You were right.  The Lumix wins.

3. I wound up buying a Lumix also after doing a lot of research, opted for the DMC-LZ5 model though because of the 6x zoom.  The trade-off is that it's not as slim as some of the others.
