About this trail:
...The College Inn is more than just a place for your parents to crash when they visit you from out of town. It's a great place for a cold one after your afternoon class, and is a popular place for international students to hang out. It's not the cheapest place, but it is clean and lacks the chicken wire adorning other bars along the Ave.

...If you happen to have ID with a date of birth more than 21 years ago, then you should try out Big Time. If you don't, keep walking. The IPA is awesome, and the pizza by the slice at lunch is great. Also a good place to drink when all of the other bars are packed. THE BEST SHUFFLEBOARD TABLE IN THE AREA.

...Unique in comparison to many of the bars in the U District, Flowers attracts an eclectic group and manages to avoid the Greek crowd almost all together. It has a vegan all you can eat lunch buffet, and some shot specials for less than you would expect. A bit more on the civil side.

...If you want the stiffest drink in the area without going to the liquor store and making your own, Earls AMFs and Long Islands are your best bet. They recently moved to where the All American used to be, and it's always packed. Unlike Flowers, it's more of a frat crowd, coupled with everything that goes along with that (you can imagine). You will also find old Ave habitants attempting to have a chat with your girlfriend or take a swig of your drink. Sticking with the theme at the old Earl's location, chicken wire takes the place of windows in the summer. Classy.

...I don't think I would call it a nightclub, but it is the closest thing we have to it until belltown. Infamous for cheap drinks, loud music, and good lookin' sorority girls complaining about how cold they are in their mini-skirts and tank tops in the middle of December. Doesn't sound too bad, does it? A bit more normal during the day if you are just looking for a quick drink

...This is above and beyond the coolest bar in the area. A bit farther away, but with beers you will definitely not see anywhere else. Awesome bartenders, full liter steins, and traditional German food to make sure they stay down. This is a place you must visit, particularly during the World Cup.

...Hidden away, it appears at first to just be a coffee shop...not the case. Very small, with a rooftop good for the summer - the two months where it manages not to rain daily.
