This extension allows you to undo closed tabs via a toolbar button, right-click context menu or even a shortcut (Alt+Z). Click the image one time to undo the last closed tab...three times to open the last three closed tabs and so on. Click the drop down arrow to see the list of last previously closed tabs and select which one you would like to undo.

This highly configurable toolbar integrates with Google Web History, your Google Account, Blogger, Google Bookmarks, Gmail, Google Docs & Spreadsheets (you can configure it to open/edit files in a browser window for you, no MS Office required); and provides you with a detailed record of your Google searches and web page visits. Allows you to set your Gmail account as the default mailto: client. A very handy toolbar, but be sure you read the documentation thoroughly so that you are aware of the privacy implications inherent in recording your every move on the Internet. Update: If you add the Google Calendar button to it, you can use it to add events to your calendar without opening a page. Clicking the Calendar button opens your Calendar in a new tab. Similarly with the Docs&Spreadsheets button.  Update: if you install it in Firefox Portable, it may not remember new buttons that you install to it when Firefox is restarted.  Please add your comment if you find a workaround to this.

PROFILESWITCHER: An extension that adds the name of the profile in uso in the titlebar (on Thunderbird) or as tooltip in the statusbar (on Firefox).
Moreover it adds also in the File menu two new items to start another profile or the profile manager. From the extension's preferences, you can choose what to do when you launch another profile (close the one in use, don't close it, ask every time).

Although Firefox comes with a built-in password manager, you should be aware that it is non-encrypted and thus not very secure. It also doesn't seem to work on some login pages. AI Roboform (Windows only) gives you a secure, encrypted,  password-protected login and form filler manager. This extension also requires that you download and install Roboform. The link is to the portable version I use. Very useful. Update: Roboform also works with Internet Explorer. It also can save and import bookmarks, forms, notes, searches, and contacts from Outlook - either password protected or not. My opinion of this app just keeps on rising.

Adblock Plus gets rid of those annoying Flash advertisement banners and more. And you can right-click on anything else you don't like, to add it to your blocked list. Sweet.

Long Description

GMarks includes a sidebar, a toolbar, a quick search with Home+Home similar to Google Desktop's Ctrl+Ctrl search, and full content search of your bookmarked pages.

GMarks supports nested labels with a customizable separator. It has a toolbar button which turns yellow when the page is bookmarked and when middle clicked can add/remove the site. GMarks also adds a tab to the Firefox add bookmark window to add bookmarks directly to the Google Bookmarks site.

Also included are filters, which can be used for both batch editing and for automatically adding descriptions and labels to new bookmarks, and an Organize GMarks window with inline editing of bookmarks.

GMarks allows for easy migration to and from Google Bookmarks. You can import your Firefox bookmarks to Google or export your Google Bookmarks to a bookmarks.htm file. GMarks is completely separate from your Firefox bookmarks and does not remove or hide them.

Searchery is a new Firefox extension which brings web search into Firefox 3's new Awesome Bar. As you type into your address bar Firefox will search your history for pages that match and Searchery will search the web.

Searchery moves the functionality of the Firefox search box into the address bar. This means there's just one place to type what you're looking for and it frees up more room on your screen to see results. All your OpenSearch web search engines are available with just a couple of clicks.

Web search results from Google.com and Amazon.com are available next to your history and bookmark results. So if you're looking for a site you've been to before it's easy to spot, if you're looking for something new it's right there too.

Your search results are split into sections. You can move betwen them by pressing page-up or page-down or just by using your mouse. Take a look at my instructions page or the support page at Get Satisfaction.
