This is the airlines I usually go with for local travel. They have great rates, you pick your seat, and you still get those great bags of peanuts! ;)

Yes, I do often travel by train or Amtrak bus. It's cheap (the bus to Vancouver, Canada always sits at less than 30.00 no matter when you book!) and you meet some of the most interesting people! (could be a good or bad thing.lol) Check your destination!

I love this site cause you get the real deal and reviews from the folks traveling themselves. You can make an informed decision about a hotel or activity.

This is Washington's tourism page, but always check each tourism bureau for where you are going. They often have the weather, upcoming events, coupons, and other information you need to know before you head on out!

A fantastic resource of information. They don't just make books! Check out here for what you need to know, especially with foreign travel.

Last minute booking? Feeling a bit adventurous? Then, you should definitely come here and try your luck. Save a lot of money if you are open with your travel dates and times.

I get one of these every year! Great for local eating, shopping and fun, but also has hotel deals, rental car deals, and flights. Buy this book and always check to see if you can qualify for a deal!
