About this trail:
Web based applications and misc service provider sites
1
Put your powerpoint online so you can get to it no matter where you are; find other people making presentations about similar things; also a thumbsketch way to do continuing ed
2
Awesome widgets for sharing photos; like being able to add audio to images... planning to try using this for a virtual "stream walk" at a girl scout camp
3
I've used zoho creator to put together some database type applications to use with some of our project partners... Zoho planner is also totally cool!! I'm waiting with bated breath for Zoho Notebook to come out. :)
4
like a light weight inspiration w/ websharing capacity
5
a bit like flagr without the maps & with stronger relationship building potential; seems to run a bit smoother than flagr but is equally tabular rasa
6
This is actually a collection of coolness... "flowers" and "the scribbler" are my favorite of the interactice toys I've tried so far. Keep an eye on this guy - he's gonna change the world.
7
Be patient, this takes some time to load. However, you won't have to download Google Earth to do some really cool mapping.

Not having to continually burn cds or manage a briefcase is like a nirvana. I set up an account but tried not to get too comfortable. I can't get sucked into some of the snargles still being ironed out. I'll look in on them in a few months...
10
This is hands-down the smoothest pre-fab system I've tried for keeping track of who's who in my life... I haven't messed with the address book though b/c I'm already struggling with trying to keep my organization's database up to date. There are only so many hours in a day... even salesforce is more than most of my folks will commit to. We're a small non-profit with a fluctuating staff. Grants and interns pretty much make everything fly. I just keep the engine running the best I can.
