Wetpaint.com is the site used to create the Free Educational Software Wiki. You can create Wikis that are private or public. Students and instructors can use them to collaborate on projects.

One of the Free Ed Software Wiki main pages that contains the Browser Sharing subpage (look to the Navigation menu at the left) that links to Asynchronous (ex: Trailfire) Browser Sharing software.

To find the link to Trailfire, click on the Asynchronous link under Browser Sharing on the left.

Finally, click on the TrailFire link under the Asynchronous link, and you will find the TrailFire information page that links to the TrailFire site. You can obtain the free TrailFire download from their site.

Asynchronous (not live) collaborative tool used to create Web trails and comments. Small download and sign up is required. Trailfire buttons are added on the users browser to make creating comments and trails easy. Trails are public by default but can easily be made private by the trail creator. Others can be invited by the creator to join the trail.
