The E-Journal page is the fastest way to the biomedical journals available electronically at Duke. You can get to journals three ways:
- By clicking on All Titles or a letter in the alphabet to see a list of available journals.
- By searching for a textword in the journal title (note: this only searches for the journal title, not for individual articles)
- By browsing e-journal titles by subject.
3
The library catalog is where to go to determine whether the libraries at Duke own a book, journal, movie, conference proceeding, etc. It contains records for both print and electronic materials.
4
The MEDLINE database is available via PubMed and Ovid. If you use PubMed, be sure to connect through the Library's Website, as this takes you to a version of PubMed that contains links to our full-text electronic journals.
5
The Clinical Tools page provides access to many useful electronic resources, including:
- Pre-appraised resources: ACP Journal Club, the Cochrane Library, TRIP database
- PubMed: with no filters, with clinical queries, or for systematic reviews
- Databases: PubMed, CINAHL, PEDro, Web of Science
- Textbooks: for example, MD Consult (contains 40+ electronic books in many disciplines)
- Drug information: Clinical Pharmacology, MICROMEDEX
- Guidelines
- Patient Education
6
This page contains links to calculators and other tools to help with diagnoses, etc.
Note that the main resources are still available along the sides of the page.
7
Here you can get to images, podcasts, videos and support material for PDAs.
Note, the main resources are still available on the sides of the page.
