Referrals

Here's how referrals work on Trailfire, from a happy customer to a new booking.

  1. 1

A customer leaves a positive review

When a customer responds to a Trailfire review request with a high score, that's the trigger. Low-score feedback stays private and routes to you instead of asking for a referral.

  2. 2

Trailfire generates a personal referral link

Each happy customer gets their own branded link. The landing page features their review, your business, and a one-tap booking CTA so referred friends know exactly who they're being sent to.

  3. 3

    The customer shares it

Customers share their link by text, email, Facebook, or just by copying it. Every share, click, and booking is tracked back to the original referrer.

  4. 4

A friend books a job through the link

The new lead lands in your dashboard tagged to the referrer. You'll see the full chain — who referred whom, what service they booked, and the status of the reward.

  5. 5

    The referred job gets completed

Rewards trigger only after the job is marked complete — not at booking. This protects you from gaming and makes sure the referral actually turned into real work.

  6. 6

    Both sides get rewarded

You choose the incentive — a dollar credit, a percentage off the next service, a gift card, or something custom. The referrer and the new customer both get an email when their reward is ready.
